Do you need a logo?

If you are trying to market yourself, your company or your product anywhere visually – then “Yes! You Need a Logo!” You may need a great logo – generally a graphic (usually illustrated) icon – such as the Apple logo. You may just need a wordmark – your name in a unique standalone treatment – such as CocaCola. Or you may need a logotype which is a combination of the two.

Your logotype is a special design that will appear in all of your marketing - it will go on EVERYTHING - your business cards, your marketing materials, your building, your website, possibly your vehicles and who knows where else! It will give your company or product individuality and provide quick recognition, so it needs to look great and it needs to be memorable.

Your logo has two purposes: First, it should attract new customers. By having a professional logo, it will convey that you are credible, trustworthy, and professional; customers will have more confidence in doing business with you. Secondly, it should be memorable – to help your current customers remember you later.

Remember, your logo will be the centerpiece of your business, representing your company 365 days a year. It’s definitely worth it to hire a professional to create your logo.
